Launch Day, HOORAY!! Y’all. I can’t even with this brand. Succulent Bar is one of the most inventive concepts I’ve ever come across, and when Jessica, the owner, reached out about rebranding her super “succ”essful business, I was completed honored! I’m truly thrilled with the end result, and I can’t wait to share the details behind the design with you!
Succulent Bar is one of those ideas I WISH I had come up with myself, offering everything from DIY succulent planting tables and one-of-a-kind favors to custom gifts and corporate team bonding. With their unique concept and super fun presentation, it’s no surprise they are a favorite among Houston-based event planners!
Watching the Succulent Bar brand take on a life of its own over the years, Jessica felt the original logo felt a bit too feminine, and slightly amateur. For her rebrand, we channeled a rich, sunset-inspired color palette (reminiscent of the desert) and the organic feel of abstract art. The design is largely inspired by the colorful environment of Palm Springs - a place known for its boho vibes and celebratory nature. This one-of-a-kind experience is exemplified through unique design elements, including a custom cactus illustration, an abstract brush pattern, and playful typography, which together accomplish a fun, yet polished, presence.
As if one rebrand wasn’t enough (Jessica is one of the hardest working, dream chasing people I‘ve had the pleasure of working with!), our time together also encompassed a launch for her newest offering: Petal Bar. This dried floral experience (coming soon!) will offer guests the opportunity to create a custom, colorful arrangement using creative elements and guided expertise. It’s the delicate little sister to Succulent Bar and incorporates a slightly more feminine color palette. My favorite detail from this brand is undoubtedly the submark with its petal-inspired overlay and hints of abstract art!
