I am so excited to showcase the brand design for a Houston Real Estate agent, because it was a total step outside of my comfort zone. While I’m typically drawn to soft neutrals or really bright colors for most of my client projects (as you know!), I knew Ashley’s brand and presence needed to take a completely different path altogether. It turned out so wonderful!
In examining her ideal client and audience, we immediately knew a few things:
She is drawn to luxury brands, not just because they are high quality, but because they give her a sense of belonging to her local society.
This ideal client deeply values heritage and wants to give her family and friends a spacious, beautiful home to enjoy over dinner parties, gatherings, and various events. She is not shopping for something that her family will outgrow in the near future.
Lastly, while this client has time on her hands to shop around, she is a tad impatient and expects top-notch service and deliverables from the very start. She knows what she wants and anticipates her agent will deliver without question or hesitation.
Keeping all of this in mind, two words jumped out at me immediately when brainstorming her design: POLISHED and STRIKING. There was no need for eccentric colors, flashy elements or fussy designs with Ashley’s branding - we needed to create something classic and memorable all in one.
When sourcing inspiration, I was drawn to brands like Chanel and Gucci, and wanted to embody architectural elements of worldly destinations along the lines Paris and Italy. A classic color palette of red, black, white, and gold mirror the luxury brands her clients desire in life, but they still offer a tasteful compliment to Ashley’s own personality and preferences.
For her design, a one-of-a-kind monogram and clean lined typography was the perfect choice. Accented by a custom illustrated, French-inspired key, Ashley’s brand now embodies the ideal balance of elegance, command, and professionalism.
